Petition to restore Atul Kochhar’s contract

The following petition is being sent to CEO of JW Marriott hotels. It must be noted that by ending the contract Marriott has tried to insult the Hindu suffering at the hands of Islamic invaders. Would Marriott fire a Jewish chef if he points out how his ancestors suffered at the hands of Nazi Germans ?

Dear Mr. Sorenson,

We, the undersigned, petition you to reinstate the contract of Mr. Atul Kochhar, the Michelin star chef, who ran the Rang
Mahal Indian restaurant at J.W. Marriott Marquis in Dubai. The contract was apparently terminated over a tweet, in response to a tweet by an actress viz. Priyanka Chopra who had wrongly defamed Hindus as a terrorist community in the last
episode of her TV show Quantico. Mr. Kochhar’s tweet contained a home truth that is well known. His tweet said the following: “It’s sad to see that you (Priyanka) have not respected the sentiments of Hindus who have been terrorized by Islam over 2000 years. Shame on You (sic).” We wish to establish the basis on which Mr. Kochhar’s contract be reinstated and he not be punished for stating the Truth.

We also wish to convey to you that stifling the voice of Mr. Kochhar will kill the debate that is of necessity today to ameliorate the era of religion-inspired terrorism that saw the twin towers in NYC fall in an orgy of hate. Those of deny the home truth are engaging in worst form of negationism that will eventually consume the human civilization to its wholesome annhilation. We will also show it to you that the world of Christendom faced similar situation in the Dark Ages, and had not likes of Voltaire raised their voice, the West would still be living in Dark Ages today, and you would be paying taxes to the Church instead of an elected secular government. We ask you to take cognizant of all these factors, and undo the damage you have apparently done, in all probability, unknowingly, perhaps due to pressure from an actresses whose politics is based on negationism and appeasement of atavasic forces, who are waiting in the wings to establish the Caliphate that they seek to usher.

Islamic Conquest of India

Please read the tweet of Mr. Kochhar carefully. He never blames the Muslims. His tweet is not directed at a community. He uses the term Islam. Nobody can deny the role of Islam in terrorising the Hindus for over a millenia. This is what an iconic American historian had to say on this issue: “The Islamic conquest of India is probably the bloodiest story in history. It is a discouraging tale, for its evident moral is that civilization is a precious good, whose delicate complex of order and freedom, culture and peace, can at any moment be overthrown by barbarians invading from without or multiplying within.” (Will Durant, The Story of Civilization: Our Oriental Heritage, page 459.)

Here is what Arthur Schopenhauer had to say on this topic: “… And, above all, don’t let us forget India, the cradle of
the human race, or at least of that part of it to which we belong, where first Mohammedans, and then Christians, were
most cruelly infuriated against the adherents of the original faith of mankind. The destruction or disfigurement of the
ancient temples and idols, a lamentable, mischievous and barbarous act, still bears witness to the monotheistic fury of
the Mohammedans, carried on from Mahmud the Ghaznevid of cursed memory down to Aureng Zeb, the fratricide, whom the Portuguese Christians have zealously imitated by destruction of temples and the auto da fe of the inquisition at Goa. …” (Arthur Schopenhauer The Essays of Arthur Schopenhauer – Translated By T. Bailey Saunders)

Here is a quote from Fernand Braudel: “… [the Muslims] could not rule the country, except by systematic terror. Cruelty was the norm — burnings, summary executions, crucifixions or impalements, inventive tortures. Hindu temples were destroyed to make way for mosques. On occasion there were forced conversions. If ever there were an uprising, it was instantly and savagely repressed: houses were burned, the countryside was laid waste, men were slaughtered and women were taken as slaves. …” (Fernand Braudel, “A
History of Civilizations”, 1995.)

Here is Alain Danielou on this topic: “… From the time Muslims started arriving, around 632 AD, the history of India
becomes a long, monotonous series of murders, massacres, spoliations, and destructions. It is, as usual, in the name of
‘a holy war’ of their faith, of their sole God, that the barbarians have destroyed civilizations, wiped out entire races.
Mahmoud Ghazni was an early example of Muslim ruthlessness, burning in 1018 of the temples of Mathura, razing Kanauj to the ground and destroying the famous temple of Somnath, sacred to all Hindus. His successors were as ruthless as Ghazni: 103 temples in the holy city of Benaras were razed to the ground, its marvelous temples destroyed, its magnificent palaces wrecked. …” (Alain Danielou: Histoire de l’ Inde)

And the greatest of the testimony comes from an Islamic historian himself: “… The blood of the infidels (Hindus) flowed
so copiously at Thanesar that the stream was discoloured, notwithstanding its purity, and people were unable to drink it.
The Sultan returned with plunder which is impossible to count. …” (Tarikh-i-Yamini of Utbi the sultan’s secretary written in
the 11th century).

As you can see, professional academicians, historians and scholars, coming from diverse backgrounds, all have given testimony that upholds what is contained in Mr. Kochhar’s tweet. Further to the historical facts, that cannot be denied. Further, it is also proved beyond a shadow of doubt that what motivated the terrorism against Hindus throughout history.

Here is what the Holy Koran says about idolators (Hindus): “… When the sacred months are over slay the idolaters wherever
you find them. Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them. If they repent and take to prayer and
render the alms levy, allow them to go their way. God is forgiving and merciful. …” (Koran 9:5)

The God of the Koran is dead set against idolatry. It repeats again and again. “Idolatry is worse than carnage.” Repeated
at several places (Koran 2:191, 2:217 and many times more) But it does not stop there. There is no compromise or freedom of different kind of worship or acceptance of others’ ideas. It goes on to say: “Fight against them until idolatry is no more
and God’s religion reigns supreme.” (Koran 2:193)

In the eyes of God of the Koran, there is no sin greater than idolatry and He is highly jealous of other gods: “God will
not forgive idolatry. He will forgive whom He will all other sins. He that serves other gods besides God has strayed far
indeed.” (Koran 4:116) and “God will not forgive those who serve other gods besides Him; but He will forgive whom He will for other sins. He that serves other gods besides Him is guilty of a heinous sin.” (Koran 4:48) and “He that chooses a
religion other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him and in the world to come he will be the one of the lost.”
(Koran 3:86)

Terrorism against the Idolators (Hindus) is entrenched in the holy book of Islam, e.g. “…He will put terror into the
hearts of the unbelievers. They serve other deities besides God for whom He has revealed no sanction. The Fire shall be
their home; dismal indeed is the dwelling of the evil-doers. …” (Koran 3:151)

It was not as if the Islamic invaders of India were merely looters and landgrabbers that were looking to usurp other
people’s homes and hearths. Prophet Mohamed himself had commanded the Ummah to conquer India, which is enshrined in Ghazwa-e-Hind, excerpted from Hadiths (traditions of the Prophet) as follows:

“The Messenger of Allah promised that we would invade India. If I live to see that I will sacrifice myself and my wealth. If I am killed, I will be one of the best of the martyrs, and if I come back, I will be Abu Hurairah Al-Muharrar (freed from the Fire)”. (Sunan an-Nasa’i, Book of Jihad, 3173 and 3174)

“There are two groups of my Ummah whom Allah will free from the Fire: The group that invades India, and the group
that will be with Isa ibn Maryam”. (Sunan an-Nasa’i, Book of Jihad, 3175)

Thus, you can see for yourself that each and every word Mr. Kochhar wrote in his tweet is backed by home truths of history and religion with its theology. There is historical action of terrorism against the Idolators (Hindus), and there is religious motivation behind it.

Can you (or anyone else) deny these facts?

You would be further pleased to mark the simple fact that Mr. Kochhar’s tweet does not indict the Muslim community.
There is no case whatsoever of his tweet containing bigotry against the Muslims. So, why he is being penalized?
For what?

Was Voltaire a Bigot? The Christian/Western Precedent

It is not as if this type of debate is being conducted for the first time in the human history. If you taken even a cursory look at the European/Christian history, there is a similar precedent. Similar theological constructs in Christianity were used by the Church in Europe that had yielded in the Dark Ages. But then there was a certain Voltaire, who had said the following:

In a letter to Frederick II, King of Prussia, dated 5 January 1767, he wrote about Christianity:

“La nôtre [religion] est sans contredit la plus ridicule, la plus absurde, et la plus sanguinaire qui ait jamais infecté
le monde.”

[ English – “Our [religion] is assuredly the most ridiculous, the most absurd and the most bloody religion which has ever
infected this world. Your Majesty will do the human race an eternal service by extirpating this infamous superstition, I
do not say among the rabble, who are not worthy of being enlightened and who are apt for every yoke; I say among honest people, among men who think, among those who wish to think. … My one regret in dying is that I cannot aid you in this noble enterprise, the finest and most respectable which the human mind can point out.” ]

The million dollar question is whether Voltaire was a bigot? Had it not been for the likes of Volatire, the West would
still be living in Dark Ages. And it is not as if Christianity has diminished because of critique of Voltaire. Last we checked, Christianity is the largest and the most thriving religion in the world today.

So, how can you conflate exposition and critique of Islam, with bigotry against Muslims?

Islamic Renaissance

Islam-inspired terrorism is a fact of life today. If you want to engage in negationism and appeasement, you are no
different than Claude-Adrien Nonnotte, the Jesuit theologian, who ahd berated Voltaire no end for his critique of
Christianity. But the spirit of Voltaire prevailed over all skeptics of his time. And thus ushered in the Age of
Enlightenment and Renaissance, on which the extraordinary growth of the Western civilization is based. Similarly,
the solution to Islam-inspired lies in the critique of Islam, a la Voltaire. Just like the Church was made to recede
from public life, the world of Islam also could be secularized. There are many muslims themselves engaged in this
historical task.

There is Ayaan Hirsi Ali, who has waged a war of her own on the pernicious practice of female genital mutiliation, a
practice that is sanctioned by Islam. She establishes the case of Islamic Renaissance in her ‘Heretic: Why Islam
Needs a Reformation Now’. There is women’s movement even in Saudi Arabia which has recently extracted the right to
drive for Saudi women. There are young activists like Pakistani-American Sarah Haider who are working actively for
a Renaissance among Muslims. Their work combined would come to fruition in a way that will see end to religion-inspired
terrorism as we see today.

By stifling the fact of Islam, as stated by Mr. Atul Kochhar in his tweet, you have indeed slayed the spirit of Voltaire.
You have inadvertently sided with the negationists and appeasers, who like Neville Chamberlain, refuse to see the truth staring at the face. It does not behoove a company and heritage like yours to engage on the side of those who want to
keep us hostage in the modern-day Dark Ages. Henceforth, we the undersigned urge you to reinstate Mr. Kochhar’s contract with your Dubai hotel.
